Adult English Courses

Adult English Courses

Each student will have to partake in an initial written and spoken test before they join the course. This test is necessary to assess students' English skills and decide the most suitable level for them. We provide courses at all levels from beginner to advance depending on the age, ability, native language, learning attitude, learning environment and objectives of the students. Combining all these factors and the result of the placement test, our course consultants will then recommend the best program and make a suitable study plan for the students.

Learn English from zero

The starters will learn alphabets and basic grammar skills at the very beginning. Our teachers will instruct and assist students to take more listening practice and learn how to use commonly-used vocabulary. In these specially designed elementary English programs, we provide our students a relaxing and caring learning environment. This helps them improve their English under no pressure. Teachers will also give enough opportunities for them to practice as well. What is more, iLAB also provides the opportunities for the students to practice English alone online, so that they do not need to overcome the fear to speak English before others.

Beginner English

The key to improve the English skills of beginner level students is to have a good learning environment and scientific learning methods. Our teachers will recommend the beginner level students to take some basic and entry level courses to widen their lexical knowledge and practice their grammar. Students can also join native or local teacher-led small classes to practice their spoken or day-to-day English. After class, we also have a special English corner for beginners. This course also incorporates our highly interactive online course, iLAB. This online course will help students strengthen and retain what they have learned from the class and further practice their English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Intermediate English

For intermediate level students, we offer an extensive range of course subjects, including profession-focused, culture-focused and academic-focused. Students can choose their preferred course or even take the lower level course if they wish to. We also recommend our student to come and join our EF Life Club which gives students a perfect chance to practice their English in a real life, informal settings.

Advanced English

Apart from those profession-focused, culture-focus and academic-focus courses, advanced level students could also choose Business English and Career Service. We frequently invite human resource experts and top level management officers from the industry to share their career experiences and expertise with our students.
